How Pizza Night Became Our Most Sacred Tradition

Friday is Pizza Night, and Pizza Night is non-negotiable. It started as a way to end the week without a fight over dinner and turned into the thing the kids ask about on Monday.

Everyone has a station. One kid stretches dough, another runs sauce, the twins are on 'cheese quality control' (a role with more tasting than working). The picky eater builds his own personal pizza and, somehow, always tries one new topping when it's his own creation.

It's chaos and flour everywhere and it is the best hour of our week. Ordinary Friday. Lifelong memory. That's the whole idea.
